    Bunnings got the following for $19 on the front page… cheeky buggers :)

    • I love how Bunnings match/undercut Masters on their specials.

        You would think they are big enough to not care, but I guess it shows how scared they are of competition

        • They're expanding into the UK and Masters is losing $78,000 a week and on track to lose $290 million this year. I don't think they're too worried.

        • Pfffttt…Bunnings are not scared of Masters…they are destroying Masters!!

          Anyway…the war can only be good for the consumer :)

        • lol bunnngs are laughing at madters, all the way to the bank and expanding to the uk

          @Tony555:
          till it ends and bunnings jack prices up

        • @owenw: then why do they even react?

          @HunterOfBargains20: Just "twisting the knife" :)

          With such competition, only the consumers will win ;)

    what shits me at masters is getting a lecture when staff whom spot me entering the voucher code (from oz bargain)at self service. I then proceed to tell them how ridiculous and stupid it is that if I bought online I could use it as often as I want and they (staff) have to actually spend valuable time collecting my order.

    I'm trying to open my wallet to support competition and they keep sending me to Bunnings.

      Why don't you just ask first, they might react better that way

      • +3

        That still doesn't justify the staff lecturing him.

    • What are they lecturing you about? Seems strange they would be against you doing that …

      @skimmermilk
      Sorry to hear that happened to you. I just did about 6 seperate transaction to get the $20 x 6 gift cards @ penrith store, used 10% voucher in every transaction, used those $20 GC to pay for the next transactions, no one said anything to me. Happy chap today. Saved almost $200.

    Trust me I have tried. I hate self serve to start with but I was sick of having to explain why I don't have a physical voucher. I usually just say I i forgot it and my gf just sent the copy via email

    Mind you I'm no Bunnings fan boy like some. I enjoy the fact I get a shopping bag and the store is clean and air conditioned at masters And generally the staff are great, just the voucher issue annoys me because common sense isn't prevailing.
