    no good bagging it if you cant find a better deal… i had a quick look on shop bot and static ice and only one of them even had it, and it was 1500 bux…

    Im one of the first that loves to neg things, but only if i have proof its not a deal. exact model for exact model… or even one with same specs…but even that isnt sometimes comparing apples to apples.

    JB's list price, is not what you buy it for in store… it has significant margin built in…

    I agree Swiper. And even if the JB list price can be negotiated lower, this retailer should be recognised for bringing a lower list price to the table (without negotiation). If, however, there are other AU retailers with lower list prices, then please let us know.

      This is a good deal if you couldn't be bothered (or are terrible at) bartering.
      For everyone else, you can do better than this at JB or HN..

  I can get this for around $800 shipped by UPS from Hong Kong.
  I'm not going to vote neg (because I'm comparing with import), but this is not a good deal for me.

    According to the link below, someone was able to haggle it down to $850 at HN so it's possible to get one lower price.

      he did also buy some other stuff, so they could have potentially used the margin from the other stuff to compensate for the overly cheap amp… but yeah, we pay to much in australia!

  meh, can be found for the same price elsewhere, not good enough.
  extrastock used to have them for $100, now they have the 606 left only, but a little less.
  You can negotiate to this price at JBHIFI or HN.

      The reason's you've given do not appear to be reasons the community and mods accept

      • it used to be cheaper at another supplier (… but it's not cheaper there now)

      • Restock has refurbished 606 units; this deal talks about new units

      • "I can get it cheaper by negotiating" can be a helpful comment but is not a reason for voting negative
