Note that this is a fairly sweet cider, and might not be to everyone's taste. I prefer the dryer ciders.
yup to be honest really just like alcoholic apple flavoured lolly water. I'm told many of these Scandi ciders are just full of sugar and not really ciders.
Sugar would turn back to alcahol, are you sure they arent using artificial sweeteners?

Try Mercury dry cider. Slightly more expensive than Strongbow, but much better tasting IMO.
Edit: If you can find it in store. DM for some reason only stock small quantities, and it sells out quickly
I have tried Mercury, I used to drink it 30 years ago.

I bought some a year or two ago, just a heads up. It's awful. I'm a pretty big cider drinker and this is suuuuper sugary and unatural tasting. Value is not always what you want when it comes to a case. It tastes like a worse version of Strongbow.
The pear isn't as bad. Grabbed a slab for Xmas/NYE, but I found that it was taking a lot more than usual to get tipsy… The alcohol content shouldn't be dropping due to age, but it's the only thing I can think of.
My dad bought two slabs of these - one of them has a best before date of 31/12/15 and the other 01/01/16. While they're barely past the date, if this is an issue for anyone, here's a heads-up.
I spoke to Dans about this when looking for them recently. They're selling them this cheap because they're close to expiry. That said, went home and checked out my stock which had a best before by the end of 2016! Go figure.
I think the quality of the pear ciders is pretty decent for the cost. They are a bit on the sweet side.

Stupid dan murphys, it says they have like 15 packs at various dan murphys and when I go to checkout it says insufficient stock
