    I suppose at this price you need to compromise. Is there a better tent for around the same money? This is a genuine question as I now bought this tent and I am after one for 4 people.

      2.4mx2.8m - That's not enough for 4 adults. Unless you're 2 very close couples!

        Adult sleeping bag is 70cm wide, and depending on height, allow say 1.8m length. So you might fit 3 across, and 1 laying at the end. That allows ~90cm width for each of the 3, and ~60cm width for the kid at the end of your feet.

        Seriously, it's gonna be tight, and there's stuff all room leftover for any bags or an esky, or all of the above.

        (And I realise 4 could just fit across the 2.8m side, but that would have you all shoulder to shoulder, and right up against the tent walls on the sides)

  I got a tent from Dealsdirect once before.
  The poles were twigs that snapped at the first breeze. utter junk. They have no shame in selling worthless crap that no-one else will touch.
  maybe could have returned it if I was willing to pay a fortune in postage, and still trusted them.

  Just go to K-mart etc if you want a cheap tent.
