How is an officeworks deal related to a HN deal?

Edit, I get it Boonanza, you posted a HN deal, not officeworks so yours is a dupe but this one is not

        • @gothebroncos:
It's not a Dupe, different store.

  • I was looking for 32 gb for my dash cam, how about this 16 gb is it good enough ?

    • $13 for a Patriot Class 10 32GB at MSY, bought one yesterday and its working great

    • 16gb will work only if you delete everything everyday and make a fresh start the next day.

Dash cams usually have loop recording anyway. So 16gb should suffice.

        I have a 32GB and at 1080P recording it gets 2.5 hours worth…

Go the biggest you can. Several times I have gone to copy stuff off, and it's been overwritten as I only get 2 commutes to work out of 32gb.
My own fault, I should have copied off faster, but sometimes you are busy and think will do it later.

      Sajju…
It depends on how long you want to record on a loop?
There is a way of calculating what time it will record before rewriting over previous records.
As a rough guide you could get about 1.25 hrs of driving at 1080p. Will that be enough for you?
(trevorinski9's comment is wrong as they auto loop over previous recordings)
If you record something you want to keep there is a button on most cams that will lock that current file so you can access it later. You have to press this button at the time of the incident though.

For those loading up their eBay cart, to get to the $150 min, these are also on OW eBay store for $9

They are also $10 at your local Post Office, which is cheaper for me as I can walk there. It will cost me more than $1 in fuel or fares to get to Officeworks. (I picked one up this morning so price is current).

  • Good price for local stock, but they are always this price or better on ebay via Hong Kong (and the higher capacities of same range cheaper).

eBay is filled with fakes, so you'll have to be more cautious

      • True, though i have never had an issue with well reviewed Hong Kong sellers. It's not rocket science but those not grey import savvy should certainly steer clear. :)

  • was mentioned there https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/223842 before, the price is great though…

  • WHat month in 2016 will 16g or 32g become available for $1.
