Purchase a selected TV 60 inch or larger together with a Concierge service plan in one completed transaction from Tuesday 22 December 2015 to Monday 4 January 2016 inclusive from any participating The Good Guys store or online (excluding ebay purchases)…

    Not applicable to eBay

    • So in other words you have to pay overpriced RRP with no discounts and deal with TGG idiot sales staff to get this? Yeah, no.

      • you are right orpheus, i just cancelled my order, Chuck it, more ozbargain deals to come…. i can wait.

  • you may be right, how do i delete this deal, i dont want to mislead.

  • Can you buy concierge service plan from ebay? You can probably go into TGG store and see if they will pricematch the TV with 15% off.. I have tried it the last time they had 20% off ebay. I had some success with some products, they didn't do 20% off all products though.

  • Don't forget to compare this warranty package with Australian consumer law

You'll probably find it is much the same and the extras it offers you probably don't need

    • i assume that australian law covers 2 years and then again this extends it to 5…. do you think its still not worth it ?

      • I'd say Australian law would cover longer than 2 years on a 60"+ TV. These extended warranties really are a waste of money in my opinion.

any clue why all these retailers quote only 1 year warranty ? I was under the general thought that all ausssie products come with 2 yrs warranty for value over 500 bucks, i heard this on tv or radio but cant recollect.

        • @livingoracle: no idea. I recently had a TV repaired that was almost 2 years out of warranty.

dude i just bought a vaccumm over ebay in the cel15 offer and the website said 1 yr warranty, and then i emailed them and asked them whats the warranty, guess what they came back with….. 1 yr on batttery, 2 yrs parts and labor and 10 yrs on motor.

Why the hell would anyone want more warranty.

its a RIP OFF, you were right.

@livingoracle: It's only the people who don't know their rights who get caught out & unfortunately a lot of times it's those who can least afford it.

          So true….
