Prior to buying one of these (via an OzBargain deal of course), I had a cheap blender and found that it left chunky pieces which of whatever fruit/veg I was using. Tried the NutriBullet at a friend's house and couldn't believe how much stuff was thrown in and it was an awesome liquid smoothie. Snapped one up on a 20% eBay deal a few months back and no regrets.
I guess it's similar to how you can buy a normal vacuum cleaner or pay a bit more for a Dyson which others swear by.
I use a $40.00 Breville blender all the time and never have a problem with chunks.
Maybe you weren't letting it run long enough.
totally agree with you on Blender vs Nutri
it's the number of RPM ….. it does 25,000 rpm (or was it 20,000), but due to the velocity of the blades it "smashes" things.
With these processors, you pay for the number of RPM, the more RPM, the more $$
Apparently these have issues with blending ice, as seen here. Personally I've been eyeing off the Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ
We have the ninja. Wife loves it. Gonna pick one up for the MIL.
I bought the Nutri Ninja last week from Big W for $188 and have been really happy with it so far, I found this blog article pretty helpful when I was trying to decide between the Ninja and the Nutribullet: http://www.juicingdietworks.com/reviews/warning-nutri-ninja-…
Trying to purchase but keep getting error, "The redemption code can't be used for your purchase. This redemption code has expired"
The code in the post was incorrect, just fixed it up. Try again with CELEBRATE2015 (not CELEBRATE15).
Ah great! Works now, cheers Hamza23.
Target online has it for $159 - $25 online discount = $134 delivered or C/C
Not for electrical items though…
Add says it's the 900W reduced down to $159, then less 15%
Go for the http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ninja-BL480NZ-Nutri-Ninja-Blender… it's heaps better blender. I bought it for $150 odd from Good Guys C&C.
This or 900W Nutri ninja pro from Myer for $115?
Neither, get the Ninja IQ for $151.
Why do people buy these instead of a normal blender that costs around $40.00?
