Ninja Blast Portable Blender $44 via Price Check Button + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

The Amazon deal seems to have sold out. But you can still get the price via The Good Guys Price Beat (make sure you click the "Price Check" button). I think they are essentially price beating $49 from Myer.

Nice way to use any $20 gold concierge credits.

    • Thanks. Had $20 expiring next week. $24 ain't bad!

    • Oh yeah that's a great idea. I'll use my voucher for the same!!

Best portable blender, if only the blades were detachable , as much as I wash it and clean it with q tips and dry with paper towels a bit of smell stays in it

    • +1

That sounds terrible. Try soaking in baking soda and vinegar. Does it have a removable silicone seal/gasket? If the smell is in the gasket, you could bake it at 170c (if it's rated for that temp) for 30mins to burn off the smelly particles.

      • +1

its pretty hard to get out, the blade and gasket is part of the main housing. the next iteration the max , the blade is part of the container and removes as you would a typical blender

still a very good portable blender though

usually putting water in and wizzing it cleans most things off

I will try that thanks for the tip, I normally start a cycle with dishwashing detergent then wash the base with a brush or a sponge, dry it with paper towels but I still get a bit of smell , i will try the vinegar and baking soda

  • Can you use it plugged in when charging if low on battery?

I'm waiting for the new model to arrive in Australia.

    • +1

Sad that the new model is not usb-c

  • Can U use JBHI giftt cards with them since they same company now?

    • +1

No you cannot. It’s not the same company. It’s just owned by JB Hi Fi. Subtle but important difference

    • Price Match using JBHIFI live chat, then you can use JBHIFI GC :)

      • Will they really price match a price beat though??

        • Yes

          • @cwongtech: Really?! That's good to know. I thought that it had to be whatever is priced on the site/ad (publicly available) at the time of asking for the price match

  • Wife uses hers daily.
Very happy with build quality for something of this price.
    Will blend frozen banana

    • Still chunky after blended

  • Can also price match at JBHIFI (in case you have more JBHIFIs near you)

    • Yes from other comments

Got one in the last bargain. These are very good and have a fair bit of power. I blast through ice and make smoothies no problem.

  • Can anyone confirm does it come with blade guard lid & bottom lid ? This YouTube review shows it's included but missing in my one.

    • not on mine

    • It's existence is mentioned in the manual, however looks like for the model sold in Australia it doesn't come with one.

Would be nice to have the bottom lid though :(

  • I got the Nutribullet portable blender on Marketplace for $20. It doesn't blend that well. Happy to upgrade to this one. Thanks OP

  • Can these be used to make frozen margheritas?

  • My wife bought one despite my skepticism, and after a week of use and as I predicted, it is now headed for the landfill.
Great concept but some of the design choices (and I can understand why they chose those) are not.

    Bottomline - Don't send a small battery chopper to do a 400w blender's job

What was her issue? I just used it for the first time today and had no issue with it. As you said it's not a 400w blender so you kinda have to use it accordingly.

There is an instruction in the booklet on how you should use it. First fill it with liquid to the min line, then any non-frozen ingredients (spinach, nuts, etc), and finally frozen stuff last, making sure you're not over the max fill line.

I used about 200ml milk, a handful of spinach/kale, 40g frozen pineapple and a couple of ice blocks. Then fill it with water to the top. The blade got stuck on the first two gos but just need to flip the cup to loosen the ingredient up (I might have crammed too much spinach) and try again. Drank half, and re-blend with my leftover ingredients for a second serve.. so next time I might just split equally for two serves instead of cramming as much in the first. Some chunky bits still but I didn't mind it.

I personally like it. Perfect for what I need. It's quiet too so very much suitable for office use.

  • Bought one at jb for $43 (they price beat good guys). Then used my birthday voucher to bring it down to $33

Hopefully worth 30 odd bucks. I need something like this to get my fruits and nutrients in a protein smoothie as I am time poor due to work
