  They were cheaper a month ago. I booked SYD -> LAX and it cost me $1708 on the Airbus too!
  Now it's $1808 and I cant even select the same flights as I picked a month ago.

  I too recall prices have been lower than this before so it's another sale but not a bargain. I guess Qantas raised their prices recently so that may be why it does not seem that attractive.

  i think it was about this time last year that i got a Qantas Syd - Jfk for $1000 rtn , so yeah prices gone up however it was the peak of GFC histeria and Qantas shares price was bleeding cause of it.

  These are good deals at this point in time for Qantas. Sadly, I think the "super deals" from last year maybe a thing of the past as our economy improves.

  sorry, I normally dont vote negative…. but these prices arent what I'd call 'a deal'.
  plus, they'd have to be one of the most uncomfortable airlines to fly international with anyway.
