Very good price for the Soundbar, retails around $1600 and I almost paid $1300 for it thinking it was a good deal. Staticice for price comparison, HN is cheaper by $2 on list price but delivery cost me more for Melbourne Metro. ($18 for JB, $30 for HN). Should go well with all the discount TV's going around right now.

Domayne and Harvey Norman are the same shop. You will not normally find this from a large retailer for less than $1299 which was Bing Lee's price before the Christmas period.

Very good price at both JB and Harvey Norman. Price is sure to increase back to normal after the Boxing Day sales. Also the HW-J7501 can be had for under $800 at both these stores and The Good Guys.
Wow… I honestly did not know TV soundbars came in the $1,000+ price range.
Soundbars have their place.. ideal for small rooms where a surround sound speaker system would be impractical. But worth noting for under $1K there are also several options of AV Receivers (entry level, or a bit above) with surround speakers, and being modular, can be upgraded over time.
Where's the bargain if a few shops offer it for same or less?
