Seagate Expansion 1.5TB Portable Hard Drive $79.20 @ Jbhifi
In Store Only
Everybody is focus on 2TB portable HDD.
damn, i payed $68 at Harvey Norman yesterday for a WD 1TB :(
Still not bad value, just not as good as this deal.
Edit: just realized it's a Seagate… No thanks!
Agreed, there hasn't been many WD deals though.
Wd elements died on me within a year
The following is a personal opinion,
Over the last few years, I have owned WD, Seagate and Toshiba portable hard drives. The ones where you only have to plug in a USB cable, all of these ones have last maximum one year for me and this is by taking extra care when moving it away etc otherwise 2-3 months if you don't take care
While I also have some WD and Seagate where you have to plug in a AC, these ones have already last me two years +
It's the USB interface that breaks a lot of the time, at least with the Seagate you can remove the bare drive, the WD's usually have the USB board permanently attached internally.
It may have been a price error, has been replaced with the 1TB for the same price.
Nah no price error, 20% off Seagate it was $99
I'm Surprised someone hasn't posted this already it's been up since this sale started.
