    • Get it. Love mine and its brought Project Cars to life since getting one.

      • Ordered thank you.

  • Free pickup? You would want to hope so.

  • How much cheaper than retail is this?

    • RRP is like $500 AUD.

    • About $50

  • Thank you kind sir and Merry Xmas to you!

  • this wont work on xbone, will it?

    • opps sorry i realise one of them does and one doesnt now, cheers

  • Holding off until I can get one to go with VR racing games.. that'll be awesome.

Good deal, i got one last time round, plan to gove it a good bash with forza 6 this arvo

Goes well with this stand if wondering - make an offer to this seller for $185

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300723106843?_trksid=p2057872.m27…

Merry Christmas to all those who havent reported me to the mods this year!

    • I paid $165 for that stand from same seller

      • Wouldnt budge from $185 a few months ago, but it was during 20% off so i payed a lot less, and he most likely knew it.

        • +3

Yep I got it then as well. I've actually converted mine to a full rig now by welding up a frame and attaching a seat I bought from SuperCheap.

        • @Where's_That_Cake:

Good job! How much was the seat, I got the same combo today from the wife!

        • @highground: It was around $150 I think. The stability of a full rig makes a massive difference to immersion. Using a stand is just the first step, you'll move on soon ;)

        • @Where's_That_Cake:

Awesome, thanks for that. I actually have a Hyper Stimulator sitting in the garage awaiting being turned into a motion sim… deciding whether to keep current seat.

    • You got pics of the set up with stand noticed other guy selling stand but cost more but does look nice just wanted to see how thing one looks or any vids on you tube of this?

  • Is it worth upgrading from the g27

    • +1

I Have this and a G27 and they are virtualy identical unless you need one to work for PS4 or Xbone then just keep the G27

      • Better sensors and quieter on the G29. Also the brake pedal on the 29 is way better.

    • No.

  • Is this a good price on the xbox one

  • yes its usually $499

  • I have tried getting this $25 off but keeps coming up signed up already i did take advantage when they used do the $5 vouchers.
But i have even tried a few times with changing my google mail address but still not working but as we are all aware can make it a new email changing it about.
Maybe cause im using a mobile.
    Anyone had issues?

    • Make sure you sign in with new email and then $25 off works.

  • On some older posts on here some say it's not that great? And like fora horizon etc if buying for this don't bother it's a bit of money to spend but is it really worth it?
And if I did get and went full hog and got stand which one as a few have mentioned a few different ones?

    • People above are talking about cheap fold up ones that don't include chairs. Theres also chairs if u want to go full throttle (get it).

I'm kind of like you, play forza hor and 6, not sure I wanna go the full thing, would be great to have real manual shifting but I could also just buy an elite controller and Use the extra paddles for shifting :\

      • I you have the steering wheel but no stand? Just wondering the options of stand and the various price

        • Depends. I generally have my xbox hooked up to my pc monitor on a desk. So wouldn't need a stand.

I don't have any steering wheel ATM. Just considering it.

Basically there is three options. Desk (if ur Xbox is plugged in at a desk), fold up stand where you use ur own chair or couch, three full chair setup where the stand usually includes a fake racing chair.

For the stand with no chair, looks like ur looking at about 180usd not including shipping.

        • I be intereted to know the fold up stand option any ideas?
Not sure what you mean on the fake racing chair are these items you have seen or thought of.
Some ideas of items would be cool otherwise as you says its splashibg out a bit for something

        • @bwatt99:
          Nah not ideas.

          http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00S4QB63W/ref=psd_mlt_nbc_B00…

Look at related items on those pages. Theres tons more.

Note some have the shift holder on the wrong side for us so something u might want to check can be put on either side. Also noting that in most driving games we are driving American sided cars anyway though…

    • I can show you many long threads on TM problems. Hell I can show you around 7 or 8 people who have had T300's stuff up in the five months or so I've been a member of ROOZ which is a small Oz sim racing community. There isn't a perfect product or there anywhere.

      • hmm, ok.
By the sounds of things on that topic, it seems Logitech really stuffed up. I think that's far more serious than simply not having a perfect product. I don't remember such a basic quality control issue affecting the G27

        • The only issue I've heard of from people using G29 I play with is one guy returned his for a replacement because the PS button was faulty. I have seen multiple T300s returned for breaking down altogether or losing their FF feature. That is a serious problem right? Especially when it takes weeks for them to do this.

Take a look here for some T300 issues.

          http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?25732-T300-R…

Note that TM don't seem to have an official open forum customers to post these kind of threads either.

        • The only issue I've heard of from people using G29 I play with is one guy returned his for a replacement because the PS button was faulty.

So what you're implying is you think these G29 faults make up a small proportion of shipping uints, and they are a better choice than a competitor's wheel? Correct me if I'm reading you wrong.

Note that TM don't seem to have an official open forum customers to post these kind of threads either.

Whether they do or not is irrelevant; word will get out either way.

        • @cheepwun:
"Whether they do or not is irrelevant; word will get out either way."

I think the point was that is harder to have a reasonable comparison, when one vendor will not provide a public forum for discussion and resolution.
That's why he's linked the Project Cars forum in his post.

        • I think the point was that is harder to have a reasonable comparison, when one vendor will not provide a public forum for discussion and resolution.

I don't see the point for brand comparisons or "who-has-better-support" discussions; these are peripheral to the main issue, which is: quality problems with new Logitech hardware.

I don't think it's more likely to come across this type of discussion just because Logitech provide their own forums for it (if that was the implication) and I don't see the point of 'taking sides' with brands. From my perspective, Logitech has an issue with its latest hardware that needs to be addressed.

Other manufacturers might have issues too, of course. I don't see the point of making comparisons or favouring one over the other. I personally have zero interest in brand wars.

  • Hope I can slip in a hijacking question.

Have the 27 wheel for a few years. never used. took it out of box a month ago.
Struggling to find working games. Bought two from steam Euro truck simulator (nice idea, not my style) and NFS hot persuit.

    The latter doesn't use shifter.

Any ideas on what games are good ideas for PC with g27?

Have a look at Dirt Rally. Haven't personally tried it with a wheel, but it sounds like it's pretty amazing.

    • +1

Grid auto sport works well…Dont forget to download Fanaled's to get the LED's on the wheel working.

      Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, iRacing
