They need to get their act together and give us a site like the American one with competitive pricing but they never listen.

As long as there are braindead morons who keep buying from their site without doing any price comparison there's no incentive to change anything.
The Samsung site and stores can't discount much because other retailers would ark up over it. Why would anyone buy from a retailer if Samsung had the prices as good or cheaper? It's the same for any other brand. Think back to when Telstra tried to sell plans cheaper than they were providing them to MVNO… Not to mention it would devalue their products.

No one said they had to be as good or cheaper, Trent's comment was calling for the pricing to competitive. That doesn't mean the price has to be the same or cheaper, it should at least be in the ballpark as everyone else as a fair alternative.
@bluechan: Apple is trying real hard to control prices everywhere so every i-product can get a consistent prices.
Nah, Samsung AU will never match the price competitiveness of Samsung US, our sales in whole Aust probably less than the state of California alone. Prices on their website meant to served as price-anchor, just like the $14k gold Apple watch.

Yep they fixed it…. by removing the cover from the store.
Even the $200 keyboard cover is gone.
Prices are already too high that this code does not make a difference to buying from other retailers.
