  This is not nearly as good a return as in previous weeks, where you got $10 back for buying a $50 card (effective 20% discount). At that time, it wasn't worthy of a separate deal.
  This deal is only 10% discount, maxxed at $30 if you buy $300 worth of gift cards.
  Also, be careful as woolies doesnt always credit you, and you can only redeem $10 in one transaction. eg. If you had $15 balance, you can only redeem $10.
  Of course, Woolies makes their redemption information as clear as mud…

    Redemption is in multiples of $10. Yes $10 if you have a $15 credit, but $20 if you have a $22 credit.

    Yeah it's only 10% but it's Christmas time and people buy Gift Cards at this time of year, so if you're gonna get one anyway, why not take advantage of this :)

  I also did not get the credit for previous purchase of David Jones git cards either and had to chase the bastards twice before it was finally credited.
  IMHO not worth for me especially if you are Entertainment Card member as you get the 10% cash discount straightaway and you dont have to waste 30 min or more of your life wasted to chase them for the credit as their system failed to put in your woolies card when you try to use it!.

  1. Entertainment book 7.5% off bigw egift card. ($400value)
  2. Bigw purchased wishgift card ($400value)
  3. Woolies to buy Dj gift card $200worth (swiped edr orange card Note: it clearly states on screen $20 woolworths credit earned.
  4. Walked back into woolies and grabbed 2x10 packs of bunderberg ginger ale 375ml bottles. Paid $0.

  Do you know if you buy a gift card worth MORE than $100, you will still get the $10 credit? Or does it have to be a $100 one?

    I've had a look at my local woolies and seems only $50 or $100 DJ cards are available. Kind of answers my question - you can't buy a DJ gift card worth more than $100.
