free sims are great for signing up for SMS offers or accounts where you need a throw-away number i.e. gumtree

yep. that's exactly what i use them for. depending on the provider, your sim can be active for 60-90 days.
sometimes you get lucky; a free sim i got from lebara a few years ago is still active :)

No credit at all. It's equivalent to one of those $2 SIM you buy at shops just a starter SIM with no credit.
It's always been free from the Lycamobile web site. This is nothing new.
This is the usual price.
No deal… if theres no free credit!
