  • Seems like a good price - i never played any fallout games before, recommended?

Rocksmith for $45 seems like a good deal too

    • Great game. Highly recommend it. You also get Fallout 3 included for free! (Digital copy only - Internet Connection and a Xbox Live membership required)

      • I actually have fallout 3 disc, inherited a bunch of 360 games from former housemate - its backward compatible with my xbone…maybe give that a go first?

        • Yeh give that a go first. Fallout 4 has great graphics on XBONE I might add.

          @Jase2801:

Might rock the boat a lil here. Bought mine at BigW for $74, wanted to return it within 2 days and they wouldn't let me because it had been opened (buyer beware - price match at EB if you're not 100% sure on a game).

Long and short of it, unless you're keen on walking around aimlessly for hours just picking things up, can't say I was a fan. FOR ME, it felt like a super boring version of Red Dead Redemption or Assassin's Creed. Maybe I just don't get the game flow but I just didn't gel with it.

Great price otherwise if this is your genre.

        • @db87: I agree. It is not for everyone but I have had all the fallout games and I enjoyed them. I guess a little bit of research would help before buying for those who never played Fallout games before. There are some gameplay videos on youtube which are good to watch and see if they can make up your mind :)

        • @Jase2801:
Yeh of course! Don't get me wrong, I just jumped in head first cos I'd heard so many good things about it and was yet to try one. Hindsight says I should have looked at some game play but I impulse bought whilst at the shops. No biggie. I feel it's definitely a niche game though.

I am 38hrs into the game and I have only had it a week. It is great fun and very addictive. I thought all the Mems about how much time people spend were a bit of a joke, however my wife is not seeing much of me ATM.

  • How long does delivery take with these guys a week ago today ordered and still waiting and not even tracking with order?

    • It shouldn't take more than a week if the game is in stock. I would get in contact with them.

Better than the EB Games deal last Monday.

I got it for $30.10 delivered via the Target deal which was a steal!

      • What?!!? Nice work. Was that PC as well?

        • Yeah all platforms I think.

        • No, not PC. Target don't stock the PC version.

      • How?

$25 off $125 spend didn't work and discounted off any price. All orders people have placed have been honoured too. I just ordered fallout as didn't want to be greedy :)

      • +1

        That was a great deal.

      • Me too. Mine was sent today :)

Good Deal but not my liking. I had one when it was released early November but sold off later after playing for 1 week. Didn't like. But that's my personal opinion. Some ppl might love it , some might hate it. Depends on individual's choice.

A lot of people only like this game because of the psychological aspect. They like it because it is another Fallout game. Because it is another Bethesda game. Rather than the game's qualities alone. But hey, if they can fool themselves into thinking it's good and put hundreds of hours into it, all the power to them. I like RPG elements in my RPGs, is all.

Shit we have it good here in Aus these days. The exchange rate is shit, but we get good deals. I just ordered Fallout 4 on PS4 for my brother in the UK (from Amazon) and the total cheapest I could find was ~$70.

We do pretty alright over here.

Picked this game up for $49 yesterday from EB. Price matched BigW, no poster though.

  • Too bad we can't get a digital download code for this price :(

It is a good game, but it starts out pretty boring, you just have to stick with it and it becomes more interesting.

I was going to stop playing at the start but I kept at it and am now enjoying it.

  • Anyone been able to redeem the Fallout 3 code? Mine keeps giving me errors.
