Does anyone know if i use there promo today with 10% off if that person finds item not wanted or suitable does bigw refund you in full or just tell you can only spend refund in store.
Im not after console but something else im getting for an old promo price they had which had none left and once in store they let me know.

Got my PS4 $331.20 finally. Damm good deal. Most of the staff at Big W dint know about these offers being clubbed. Got mine from Werribee.
Staff at Big W told me it the gift card can't be used for 24 hours. I don't live close to a Big W so it would cost me that in fuel to drive back up tomorrow.
Staff at Big W Winston hills told me I can't pay by the gift card for the promotion stuff… is that true?

That us incorrect. The gift card is loaded as a refund on a blank card, similar to how eftpos refunds work. So it is available immediately.
Also, nothing says you can't use gift cards for promotional stuff.
Alternatively try this - check stock first at electronics, buy the gift card at the main checkout , then head to electronics again to buy PS4.

Just got one at Doncaster. Went to service desk and asked for $368 on the 10% promo deal. Paid 331.20 and went straight to entertainment desk.

Go to Big W and purchase $555.55 worth of gift cards using $500 eGift card (which I paid $450 for)
You'll now have 2 gift cards - one or $500 (max) and one for $55.55.
$555.55 - $368 = $187.55 remaining in gift cards which my wife will spend in no time
$450 - $187.55 = 262.45 (price paid for PS4).
Catch is you need to spend $450 to and have a reason to spend more money at Big W.
