Not sure if you recieve a code in the email or if its just the link. It asks for a campaign code when I go to purchase cover, so I assume the email has a code in it? Or call there call centre.
Interesting. I've done three online quotes so far for today - one in the morning, one at around lunch time, and one after you posted this. All three had different prices for exactly the same dates and travel location. This offer with the 10% christmas discount is more expensive compare to the other two earlier quotes. Something funny is going on. :(
Appears to be fine now. I think they were updating their site to account for the new discounts etc.
Scam. I quoted a February trip using the email I received (and not the link in this post) and the price for the Basics policy is EXACTLY as it was last week and last month. Shameless lies, tells you what to expect in dealing with these people in the event you have a policy and want to claim ….. :-( .. !!

It says in the T&C: The discount is valid for comprehensive policies purchased between 07/12/15 to 31/12/15
And? My quote was to purchase now (I think that falls within the quoted date range) for a February trip. The criticism stands .. :-) .. !!

If you entered into a policy after 5pm (AEDT) Tuesday 3 November 2015:
Our policies do not cover claims for losses caused by something that you were aware of at the time of purchasing your policy. If you entered into a policy after 5pm (AEDT) Tuesday 3 November 2015 we would expect that this was done with an awareness of the Mt Rinjani volcanic ash cloud. For these policies, we will not, to the extent permitted by law, pay any claim caused by or arising from or in any way connected with the Mt Rinjani volcanic ash cloud.
Even if you travel 6 months from now however take out the policy now you will have no cover if there is another volcanic eruption
