What about a Tab S 10.5" 16Gb+ 4G for $350? I'm still wondering if it is a good buy, not familiar with samsung tablets
where did you see this Tab S 10.5" 16Gb+ 4G for $350? or is this just a hope/dream?
Thanks guys, needed some assurance because I bought it so hastily in the DSE sale. Dbtrk, I got it from the Move Store (owned by dicks), you should give a call to your local.
I bought tab s 10.5 16G 4G at Davidjones westfield Sydney cbd for $379. Still sealed box. Pricier but still a good deal.
Tab s is much better. Screen resolution and colour is way better
This tab have like unacceptable resolution. I think its worth about $150 considering its made by Samsung. A Chinese tablet with this resolution would be around 80 AUD.
The digitiser alone would have added $100 to the price.
Good catch but no S Pen or dedicated sheath for S pen
My Bad. Sorry.
No S Pen with yours.
I personally wouldn't get any of the samsung tablets that don't have a samoled screen.
If you're with Telstra on a 'Go Mobile' plan, they're also giving these for free with a $15 data sim plan over 24 months.
Do you have a link for this deal, I could only see $25 a month.
the Telstra is also 4G but you need to read the Terms and Conditions…
https://say.telstra.com.au/customer/general/forms/add-a-data…
"you are taking up a Data Share SIM Plan"
"To take up the Exclusive Tablet Offer, you
must be on a Go Mobile, Mobile Accelerate or Everyday Connect Plan and have been a Telstra customer for 6 months or more."
Only the normal model, not the model with the S Pen.
Is it worth getting the extended warranty?
Also i read somewhere that some tablets you can only install media on the memory cards and no apps, does that still happen or is that only on the old ones?
pen very useful with OneNote which is part of MS Office - included!
beware of samsung tablet, they charge crazy high to repair the glass.Last time get quoted $450 to repair a samsung tablet RRP $300.
Looking after it costs nothing…
Or get accidental damage insurance.
A co-worker recently had the Tab S 10 screen fully repaired for $250.

-25 dollars Voucher abuse we get this for AUD 258.
This tablet still does not seem worth it for me though.
