I actually went into JB (sunshine VIC) today, and the manager there said he would do the price match, but they're doing 419 for a 1TB anyway, for $51 i figured i might as well double the storage.
The guy at JB mentioned he has to get rid of old ps4 500gb stock first, which might not be the new cuh-1200.
and buying them via the bigW site, you are actually buying from another company in partnership with bigW - warranty/returns etc are through the other company not bigW.

I saw yesterday in store prices at world sq Sydney store. I guess all stores. It's online I think as well.
I believe the 1TB ones are the older chassis models right?
So gives you a bit more to think about when going for the 1TB.
I've heard upgrading HDD storage on the PS4 is super easy so getting the 500gb then upgrading is an option just for the newer chassis.
@Eevee: not sure about other places but i just got my replacement 1tb ps4 at eb today and it was the 1202b model which is like the upgraded 500gb model, much better than my previous 1tb which was noisier and heated up more
My store had them but you had to ask… even if they dont have any you can get a raincheck as its not a bundle meaning there is no reason they cant get more in.

Gamesmen have done better pre-order prices more inline with jbhifi than ebs way inflated mark ups...... That said Im still annoyed how long it had taken to receive my fallout 4 pre-order :(

For $1.95 more than the EB Bundle. The Gamesmen suck ass but seem to be a protected species while EB gets bashed (often with justification)….
Gamesmen aren't a huge national chain either.
They have one store in Peakhurst and the store is amazing. I would pay a few bucks more to use them.
@GreatWhiteHunter: Gamesmen are a small family owned business who have been in the industry longest and who i would support any day over EB. They have the most helpful, honest and friendliest staff at Forest Rd store and sometimes instore prices are cheaper than online. Not to mention the Gamesmen's Dad was shot dead in his own store back in 1995 during a robbery. So show some some respect before you slander their name. They are the truly original games store

Having been there, If i live in any state other than nsw, i would travel to sydney just to go to the store… Thats how good it is.

There are plenty of friendly staff in plenty of EB outlets. Sure there are some bad ones too but you have to expect the odd bad one when they have around 380 stores.
The gamesmen do have good prices when they have sales. I think fallout 4 was the cheapest to preorder with and unlike JB-Hifi they actually delivered on their preorders.

I know this is getting emotional and people will probably jump on the bandwagon against me here, but I'm with GreatWhiteHunter on this. Just because a store has a nice history and one outlet doesn't make them great value. Sure, you might have a soft spot for local stores and family businesses and you may want to support them, but that doesn't take away from the factual point, which is that more often than not, The Gamesmen is more expensive than EB, as evidenced by the link posted above.
It's like buying organic food. You can argue all you want about how it's healthier, how you're supporting local businesses and whatever and I personally think it's 100% great that you wish to do that, but it's just not true when you start arguing that the stuff you buy is cheaper, because it's not.
I don't think saying that a store is expensive is slandering anyone's name.

The Rocksteady Batman games always seem to get pretty cheap not too long after their release for some reason, and not because they aren't good games (unless you're playing on PC, I guess). I've enjoyed them all.

Going by the deal from the other day, I think this deal would've have received a lot more attention if you'd listed Fallout 4 in the title.
The Bonus Stan offer with the PS4 REALLY doesn't cut it when compared to the XB1 Deal, Kinda amazed at the huge disparity in the value of the 2 offers for the 2 Major Consoles and it really makes me wonder if the Xbox really is doing that badly that they would need to prop it up like that or is it Sony just being complacent?

I'm annoyed at the $60 saving on the Assasssins Creed one, but sometimes you gotta take the chance thinking it'd sell out…. Halo is surprising it's in stock though.
I'm not surprised. They made too many of them and it's a cheap arse statue. It's even too much at $227, plus it doesn't come with a game disc.
