Similar concept to Tile?
This is cheaper, but bigger than Tile.
Does it uses one of those tablet battery? How long does the battery last?

    They both use some app called "iTracing" so yes, whatever your remote can do, that one on eBay can do it too, but cheaper!

I received one of these recently and whilst i'm impressed with most functions (similar to my Tile but with an remote camera function), it seems to alarm on both the tag and phone when the Bluetooth connection is lost which makes it unusable for me.

It also stopped working and I had to remove and replace the battery to get it going again. If you want something more robust i'd recommend the Tile but for a few bucks it's worth having.
