I was considering one of these, but didn't go through with it as I borrowed a computer that met my needs. Seems a good price to me for a high quality computer. 42 in stock according to website. I queried the "as new" condition, and was told it has never been supplied to a client. There are a few other deals listed that may interest others as well.

Yep, good business grade unit but they always seem to have low resolution screens on these refurbs.

I got almost the same laptop but with 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, AC Wireless, 4 Cell Battery and a 1080p screen a month ago for $100 more. They do pop up and there were plenty of them last time.

  • Does it come with a rootkit?

If not, ask Dell sales rep - I'm sure they can put it on for you.

  • Anyway to know their weight?

    • Starting weight: 3.98 lbs. / 1.81 kg (3 cell battery, mSATA, non touch, FHD LCD)

  • it is true for the specs that there are few consumer equivalents which would mach the specs and be significantly cheaper?
AM THINKING OF GETTING DELL LATITUDE OR LENOVO business laptops after I come back from malaysia in feb 2016.
find it hard to work out if their sites and deals are good.
hard to run around there as their internet deals are not as easily apparent as sydney.
ozbargain has been helpful even though I know nothing about IT
