  • How long is this daily deal sale going, and do we have a list of what's to come?

Seems like a lot of good titles which is a relief for a Nintendo eshop sale.

This is the last day… pretty uninspiring offers considering some of the sales that come up with physical products in store.

Was literally editing my comment as the notification came up for yours!

Yeah, was hoping for a few more days and possibly ending with some Zelda or Mario Kart 7 maybe. Wishful thinking.

    • Today is the last day of the sale.

I recommend Xenoblade Chronicles. Best JRPG I have played in the past 10 years and a bargain at this price. Prior to getting a digital release, physical copies would cost $100-$150 due to rarity.

    • The Wii version or 3DS rerelease?

      • Wii version does look better but both were good. I put 110 hours in on the 3ds version and 130-150 on the wii version when it first came out. Depends what your preference is on whether you want to play on a small or large screen. Personally I think it should be played on a TV. Also its sequel comes out this weekend.

        • Heres my issue, i already have physical copy of the wii version but have only really had time for gaming of my 3ds of late. Would you recommend picking it up on the new 3ds or waiting til i can play on the couch? Cheers

        • @yesterdaysnews: Hold out and play the wii version

        • @ruddiger8:
          Thanks for the advice :)

      • Please note 3DS version requires New 3DS or New 3DS XL.
It won't run on the older 3DS or 3DS XL.

  • Wonder if Bayonetta 2 will go lower?

Not as low as some of the camera angles ;P

  • Is this the AU eShop? I heard there are better deals if you switch your country to Ireland/UK to access the EU eShop, but I haven't tried yet.

  • Is the only way to purchase via the console itself? Web purchase not possible? Just that Im gifting the Wii U as a Christmas present. Wanted Xenoblade. Otherwise I'll have to open it very carefully lol

    • Unfortunately, you can only purchase via the console.
You will also need to create a Nintendo Network ID and link it to the console. It might be better to gift some eShop cards to save you the trouble.
