Not exactly stupid for wanting to copy Aldi with all the successful home brands.
Most of the battle here is marketing, and not really product quality. So who can blame them for cutting their loses when a line fails.
I had the BBQ meat lovers pizza for dinner tonight… it's not actually that bad! The sauce tastes a little home-brand(ish) but on the whole it wasn't too bad - and considering it comes with two garlic breads it was pretty good value. So a thumbs up from me!

That's great. Coles also have a special on cans where I believe they are $12ish for a 24 pack of Coca Cola varieties (Sprite, Fanta etc). Can you add that in if it's not already listed under a separate bargain.
Pretty good bargain. As long as the pizza isn't "crap" but "edible", a +1 vote is in order.

Gungahlin Coles had the pizzas by themselves at $1.99 (or $5.99 with twin garlic)! Strangely, Curtin Coles didn't have either deal, even though Coles is now advertising same pricing ACT/NSW-wide.
Price changed to $2.99 today.
My coles in Pyrmont, Sydney has the same deal also pretty much the same as the half price pizza last time.
Tried the supreme today, it was okay, not as much toppings as I hoped but a good deal considering 12" and 2 garlic bread. Mine was reduced 10%, probably close to use-by date.

Yeah, the coles catalogue advertised 7.99 as a special, but there were photocopied flyers on the wall saying 5.99. Bit wierd. It'd probably come up as 5.99 unless this is one of those deals that excluded Coles Express.

Coles in Bundoora victoria didn't have this special yesterday when I checked. it's at $7.99 with free garlic bread.
coles at Woden has this deal for $5.
Don't think it's Victoria-wide. $7.99 at my local, south-eastern suburb.
