Cyber Monday 20% off Site-Wide at Sellingoutsoon

201
CYBER-2015

Happy Cyber Monday fellow OzBargainers, this is our 50th post :)

So here is our biggest contribution yet to OzBargain and the cyber weekend! A relatively quick post this time guys, so I won't be able to go into the detail I normally would, suffice to say that this deal is:

20% off everything, storewide!
  • Must use coupon code above (max 2 uses per buyer)
  • EDIT: Limited stock
  • Free delivery for orders over $50 (as per our usual freight deal)
  • No minimum purchase
  • EDIT:Valid to Cyber Monday 30th November
  • Availability: is shown on each product, and varies, so please check if you're in a hurry. Dispatch times are very accurate, and we usually exceed shipping time, and during this busy period we expect to meet written deadlines.
  • Comparative pricing. Apologies in advance that we can't go into this much detail, but the OzBargain community are the experts at pricing, so check as you normally would.
What is included

Everything! Deal is SITE-WIDE!!

Check out our:

and

Pricing

Our deals are generally well-received because we put a lot of work into getting people the best results we can. But the reality is that we cannot possibly be the cheapest on everything all the time, so apologies if the item you really want is cheaper somewhere else. Most items (excepting rare items) will fall into 3 categories:

  1. Competitive with Australian retail
  2. More competitive than Australian retail
  3. INSANELY HOT! for those who know us, we often provide deals which have lower prices than overseas sellers, most often with true Australian stock.
The good news is everything is on sale. We hope you'll find something you like!
  • We also offer extra gift & packaging options including Express, extra packaging + shipping insurance at a very reasonable price. See checkout for all packaging and shipping options.
  • sellingoutsoon.com.au reserves the right to change or end this promotion early, for any reason, with no prior notice. All sales final, no cancellations, no refunds, unless item tests faulty upon return, in accordance with Return Policy on the site, Australian consumer law and Fair Trading NSW
  • Paid shipping (dispatches 0-1 business days, sent Priority), Free Shipping (dispatches 1 to 2 business days, sent Off-Peak). For bulk purchases (if available), please add 1-2 business days. Shipping time to your exact location may be additional. It is expected that at least 90% of correct addresses will arrive to most locations within the time indicated. Peak periods may add congestion to the postal system. See www.auspost.com.au for details. Tracking is available if purchased but may not be added after an order is placed, as changes to coupon-based orders after placement are untenable for logistical reasons. See shipping for more information, thank you.
See all products at sellingoutsoon.com.au for full details.
  • Please subscribe to find out what we're doing early!

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the Ozbargain community.

Cheers :)

I see a few good deals there, especially on things already marked down. Metal gear V, Child of Light Vita, a few others. Will post links after going off mobile.

    • Cool :) Check out the deal on the Australian PAL version of the Super Retro Trio console, it's a good price for the real European PAL product (not Asian replica). UK sellers on ebay are nearly $100 more (after you apply the 20% off using the code). Also the 1/10 scale Star Wars action figures are genuine Kotobukiya, Japanese item made for European/Australian market, so all the docs and packaging are in English, and with the discount the prices are pretty excellent too.

      • will this work on a HD TV or does it still require the old CRT?

        • Yes it will. But don't you wish you'd have kept that old crap TV? Haha, God knows I do! But all you do is plug it in using the RCA plugs (yellow, red, white), often just called "AV connections" on some TVs. I think it's a little better on an old TV, because the resolution is worse, which makes it better. Lots of things in life are like that, funnily enough :)

    • +1

Child of Light definitely a must get!

  • -1

dont buy on this overpriced crap shop

Super Retro Trio on this store 170 dollars…. everywhere else 70 bucks

    • The NSTC (110 volt) one is cheaper, but not the same. You see, this one is the actual PAL unit, from Europe (way more expensive, see UK ebay sellers around the $230 to $240 mark, last time I checked). We're about $198, before the discount (SOS site only, not ebay). Which makes our price $158.40. Just looked on ebay, and UK sellers selling the real PAL one, are usually way over $200.

For those who haven't heard about it, if you want to relive the golden age of games, and play your old Sega Megadrive (and Genesis) and Nintendo games (SNES and NES) all on one unit, it's pretty cool to be able to use a Super Retro Trio …no tangled wires, comes with controllers and you can even plug your old ones in if you want :)

    • +1

If you are talking about the NTSC version for $70 it doesnt play some pal games or it upscales them quicker.

      • You might actually know more about it than I do (!) but i have heard some things about why the PAL one costs more. Everyone seems to like the PAL one, and now people can like our price too :)

    R2D2/C3PO statue cheaper from hobbylink.

    • +2

Yes, you're right, they have a great price, and we made ours a little better :)

      Their site says:

      Standard Int'l Shipping
      Usually ships by SAL
      (averages 10-30 business days)
      ¥1,320
      Standard Int'l Reg. Shipping
      Usually ships by SAL (Registered)
      (averages 10-30 business days)
      ¥1,730
      Express Int'l Shipping
      Usually ships by EMS (Trackable)
      (averages 2-7 business days)
      ¥1,780
      Express Int'l Courier
      Usually ships by FedEx (Trackable)
      (averages 2-5 business days)
      ¥4,220

So if we're comparing like for like (Selling Out Soon ships this item next business day at the moment), the cost is AU$47.80 + $83.93 = AU$131.73 as at 11:02 PM AEAST November 27, 2015) and we're AU$129.60 which is now a little cheaper from Selling Out Soon in Australia,

      In addition:

      • We'll ship it free
      • We're (much) faster
      • A free upgrade to courier to most locations
      • Our delivery includes tracking, insurance and signature at both ends for your added safety.
      • Our warehouse packs in an outer carton to maintain its perfect condition
      • The box and documentation inside are in English, as ours is made for the European market

Last guy who got one (today) said: "Great item & service with super fast delivery. Thanks "

      • +1

Good work going a bit cheaper than the highest shipping option with courier which is sure to be within a few days delivery within aus. Especially at this time of night!
Though anyone that can wait 2-7 business day, you can get it for $28(ish) cheaper with EMS shipping (the second highest shipping price).

        • +3

Haha, yes, we do work pretty hard around here! Maybe some OzBargainers will support us with their business! Please also remember that you get the box and documentation inside in English, as ours is made for the European market, not the Japanese market. Both are still Kotobukiya genuine items. Well, I know ours is. Thanks, have a great weekend :)

      • +1

This comparison is actually very misleading, as a frequent buyer from japanese hobby stores, EMS shipping usually just as quick as Fedex for most cities in australia for approx $20.

I also want to point out kotobukiya is a japanese company and even your silly website says "A Kotobukiya Japanese import" on the product page you just linked, meanwhile your post says "The box and documentation inside are in English, as ours is made for the European market". That makes no sense, how can HLJ's foreign import be different to your foreign import?

        • Seriously…why the neg?

how can HLJ's foreign import be different to your foreign import?

Kotobukiya is Japanese, yes, however they may manufacture different packaging for foreign markets, so the box and documentation are in English for our (European market) stock. That is how they can be different.

Haha, I can't believe nobody said it earlier :D

  • i know im probably the only person to use opera but none of the links on your website seem to work in opera..

    • Thanks, will check that. Are you sure it's not an ad blocker, or some such blocking technology?

    • +1

      I use Opera.

Cheers! Got the Retro trio console :)

    • Nice one :) they're great!

    So much to read…

  • Yer not too bad actually. Though i am struggling to use the site, links only work on loadup, otherwise they do nothing, not sure what's up there?

    • Not sure sorry, could be too much traffic on the server…is it still happening?

      • Not happening now though no. How strange

        • Could have been anything, most likely congestion from higher than usual traffic, or some such related issue. Happens sometimes.

  • Please note OzBargain — Cyber Monday deal on until midnight tonight November 30, 2015 (note new coupon code above, for 20% off site-wide!)
