I am sure cashback is available when purchased from Bing Lee (instore) but unsure if the ebay purchase invalidates it. Any help will be appreciated. Not very useful if there is no cashback. Thanks. $322.73 after cashrewards cashback.

  • cashback may be bit tricky

  • Can't comment on bingless but Good Guys invoice only say Good Guys. Doesn't mention ebay and is for the full amount.

  • its a good deal if it works, like the OW deal

Bing Lee are an authorised reseller so the cashback should work fine.

Unlike Officeworks, they actually show up on the cashback box

    • Thanks, Gunner. I checked the same earlier. I would expect you choose the retailer location as the one you "click and collect" at or (in the case of a delivery) you would use the store from where you got your invoice. The deal is on but there is a small risk involved.

  • Cash back will be fine as long as you get a tax invoice which you do.

I bought exactly this camera from another eBay sale from Bing lee eBay store, and yes Bing lee receipt from eBay store was fine, I got the cash back from Nikon and also cash rewards. This is a great deal! I'd buy it if I hadn't already :)

  • add cashback to this and it comes down to $322.73. This is the closest you can get to the Officeworks deal. Thanks.

    • The thing is, you are sure you can get it. Unlike OW even booked and get in store within 1 hour. "It's sold out!"

  • OP,
    Whats "cash rewards"?

    I can see 549-20%=549-109.8= $439.20 - cashback of $100 = $339.20 + $5 postage

I'm unclear how this is further reduced to $322.73

LOL but it sounds like music to my ears….

    What am I missing?

    • Hi Rifraf,

      $549 - [20%(CXMASTECH) - 3%(via cashrewards.com.au)] -$100 (Nikon cashback) = $322.73

      $549 - 20%(CXMASTECH) - 3%(via cashrewards.com.au) -$100 (Nikon cashback) = $326.024

      $549 - 20%(CXMASTECH) -$100 (Nikon cashback) = $339

      $549 - 20%(CXMASTECH, Nikon refuses cashback - god forbid) - $439

Postage adds $5 to all sums I believe.

      Thanks,
      Ram

      • It might be more confuse as your calculation is Down-side-Up… lol.

  • Thanks OP. Got one, finally! Got there via Cash-rewards so will see how that goes.

  • Ah was just about to post this, beat me to it!

Yep as TA confirmed, Cashrewards is on the original purchase price.
    So it's $549
    - 20% $439.20
    - cashrewards $16.47 (on original $549) = $422.73
    - cashback $100 = $322.73

Very happy with my buy. Picking it up tomorrow at Bing Lee Chatswood, already got the call.

Just hoping I get cashrewards, I really had to fight for my last one for a Hotels.com booking I think it was.
    Fingers crossed!
