The $10 SIMs have different expiry dates. The ones I am getting are October 2016, although there was one that was June 2016.
As I & others confirmed in original deal this is a dupe of, this is a national deal where available.
These are NANO data SIMs. See deal photo & previous deal comment.
Also available 5c "Low Cost International" multi-fit (standard/micro-SIM).
Both still available this morning in some Brisbane stores.
Someone was so cheap in the store I'm in, they stole the SIM from the 5c stand :-(

Haven't seen any Optus recharge deals for ever. (only cheap sims)
Only real use is for porting number out & back from another Telco, or possibly establishing another account for services like Uber, & having a disposable number people can call into (eg for selling on Gumtree).

Sounds good if it works on broadband sims…
About the only thing you can't do with a data SIM is make calls. I'm on data SIM now on my phone.
But free $10 SIMs are the better deal - picked up 1 this morning. Same advantage as these SIMs, can make calls & use data for up to 6 Months, and FREE :-)

Considering Coles Express are giving away free $10 Optus SIM when using some cards in ATM (picked up a few yesterday in Brisbane, exp Dec 2016)… 5c isn't a great deal for a SIM with no credit & short expiry.
