  • Ahh nice we just bought a laptop would have snapped this up for sure if it came up a few weeks ago

  • After buying a Dell laptop from Big W sale last year - Core i3 CPU (older gen of course), 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, 15.6" screen (lower res) for $200. This Lenova Core i3 laptop feels expensive.

      You pay for portability.

Anything in a 15.6 chassis is not really comparable. Piece of cake to fit hardware into a large chassis like that.

      • Yes, I agree 15.6" chassis has more space and probably cheaper components (may be not?), but 15.6" is still considered portable laptop. The price difference of $700 though cannot be ignored by me.

Also Dell has good service. I've been trying for months to get Lenovo to fix this tablet which is within warranty. This is the worst customer support I've ever experienced. Worse than telcos!

I bought 2 of those $200 dells from big w and took them back for refund big bulky things.

Hmm. Non SSD. That might be a pain to upgrade.
