Does anyone know how this works? I set all the filters for free return flights and tried two different bookings on Starter Fare. Both charged me for the return fare…
Answered my own question. It is the $0 flights. I thought they were booked out.

Looked at going Syd to Tull return but was very expensive (avalon was a lot cheaper), it works on a multi city syd to avalon and the return is tullamarine to sydney and the Tull to syd is $0.
Adelaide to Brisbane for $290 return for the missus, baby and me.

How do you go about adding checked baggage for just 1 person when you are booking for 2?. It appears to only let you choose for all passengers or none at all. :(

Luggage almost kills it.
$21pp for 20kg of luggage, one way. Return = $42pp x 2 people = $84.
If you can fly with carry-on only, its a pretty good deal… but luggage on top is almost as much as the ticket, which is where they get you back.
Then booking fees.
Bloody Jetstar.
Luggage was $17 each way for me flying to Melb. Do they charge more depending on the length of flight?

Might be certain flights they are cheaper on. The advertised $79 to Cairns, works out to $500 for two return. Dodgy as, bloody airlines.
