Ok so both Telstra Voice and Data would not work in the SIM2/2G slot? Wow that would suck.
Once 2G is turned off, the modem in the device would have nothing to fall back on for the SIM2 slot.
I'm personally waiting for a dual-SIM phones with dual 3G standby.
Using one now.. Battery life is terrible.
Just note the the dual sim model of the G3 doesn't have the 700mhz lte band, so it will be terrible for in door reception (Optus and Telstra)
Yes I can confirm this, I can't use the phone inside most shopping centre's loo when I poo…at best I get 1 bar of 3G
otherwise, anywhere else within the mall is fine…I get between 2-3 bars of 4G
