The reality is that 720p is a hard sell in 2015. Everything is 1,080p now.
Coupled that with the fact JVC is just a DSE china rebadge anyway.
Finding a 32" in FHD isn't easy (over $500), and would be cheaper to buy a 40" FHD than 32"! But I'm sure there are some uses where 32" is just big enough and 40" may seem too big. It's just a shame that the market is flooded with cheaper HD screens, leaving the FHD over-priced.
Viano 40" Full HD LED TV $349 Big W
In my opinion its better to get 40" Full HD for same price and a separate DVD or BD player rather than a smaller size Non Full HD with DVD built in. Just make sure the TV you buy supports MPEG-4 tuner, which is becoming the standard these days.
Aldi only recently had a 32" for $199.
Specs:
Res 1920x1080
Contrast ratio 3000:1
PVR
USB playback
PC input
HD tuner
That was a store opening special.
I was after that TV for a long time but ended up with a DSE 40 FHD for a little bit more.
Same as really any no name brand:
