Free sandwiches being given away at World Sqaure today (Sydney). This was announced on air this morning on the Kyle & Jackie O show. So head down for breakfast/lunch/dinner/midnight snack if you're in the area!!
NB: This is part of a 104.1 2day fm contest called "kitchen of no rules" where 2 contestants need to make as many sandwiches as they can (I don't intend this to be marketing in any sort of way)

its 24 hours a day… so rock up ANYTIME.
Im not 100% sure where, but i'd imagine in the main area - close to where ausstero is (next to EY entrance) .

ur asking if you can save time on a free sandwich….. considering Guy Sabastian had to wait in line for a sandwich I'd say the chances of you preordering are very slim to none….. and even if you could im sure the line for preorders will be just as long as the normal queue….
and from what i heard its for 48 hours anytime as they cannot refuse to serve at anytime otherwise the contestants are disqualified….
OK… but where's the menu so i can see if it's worth queueing up for ???
(also, do they toast them for you too ???)
they didnt mention that so im assuming that it would only be at the place they make it only.
i.e not online.
Hahaha, do you also want to specify 6 inch vs foot long, what kind of bread, toasting or not, salad selection, sauces, etc? ;)

I just got my free sandwich (organic chicken, lettuce, tomato). I work at World Sqaure :)
It is located on ground floor next to Today FM building opposite mLeko Cafe. It is at southern part of world square. You have to take a ticket, line up and then get your sandwich. So no pre-ordering.
They make the sandwich for you on the fly. So freshness guaranteed. But it also means that you need to wait a bit depending on the line.
Do they have inorganic chicken for those of us who vote Liberal ?

How was the line? >30 minutes or < 30 minutes?
I was there at 2pm and waited 15 minutes. my colleagues went in the morning and it was quite long (about 30 mins).
Do you actually have to SEE Kyle? I think I'd lose my lunch if that happened.

Two of the biggest non-talents (Kyle, Jackie O) you could imagine. Throw in Nova's Ricki Lee in there too. It's hard to listen to morning radio in Sydney now. Grill Team is ok
No. I was there at 2pm. I have have seen Kyle at other times at World Square. For some reason I never managed to see Jackie O.

Sure I wouldn't mind a free sandwich but maybe these sandwiches could go to a better cause? maybe the local homeless shelter? probably end up going to a whole heap of tight ass suits. Nice publicity stunt though.
anyway " free sandwich" gets a plus.
