Thanks for the information, that's mean only non-highspeed HDMI cable need to be replaced for 4K video format.
so change your advertising to stop being misleading then
Any possibility of a Mini HDMI Cable specials? Need something to connect my NUC to my 4K monitor
They cost like $6 at MSY…
Thanks, I don't frequent MSY due to past experience.
Looking at the sold history, this has always been the price. Love your work rep, but this is just advertising
The price cut just was started last week. due to rep's post limitation, I didn't share on the day it started.
fair enough
Why oh why do they call it 4K when its 3K!? o_O
Technically, "Ultra High Definition" is actually a derivation of the 4K digital cinema standard. However while your local multiplex shows images in native 4096 x 2160 4K resolution, the new Ultra HD consumer format has a slightly lower resolution of 3840 X 2160.

Ok! so it should be UHD or 3K unless your a local multiplex.
Thanks!
It should be 2K. Video specs have always used the vertical resolution until the marketing departments decided to quote the more impressive horizontal figures: 480i, 480p, … 720p, 1080i, 1080p, etc.
3,840 is a LOT closer to 4K than 3K - Id consider 4K to be "more right" than 3K would be.
That said, I agree with Alvian its a shame they deviated from the historical method of quoting the vertical res.
Would this work on HDMI 1.0 ports?
It's backward compatible.
bought a 3m on Monday from you on eBay for that price already. (should be delivered today) Hope it's good!
plus 2.5% cashback lol
Clever & annoying (+ slightly dodgy) listing on eBay…
Listing is for:
Premium HDMI Cable v2.0 Ultra HD 4K 2160p 1080p 3D High Speed Ethernet ARC HEC
Cost is $1.00 - $14.98
But the cheapest v2.0 cable is $3.95…
The $1.00 item is:
0.3m Lite v1.3
So clearly it's just in the listing to bring down the minimum price.
I think this is a dodgy practice that just annoys eBay users who sort by price….
If you pulled that sort of a trick here, I would think the mods would be all over it before you could say, "HDMI v1.3 deep colour and HD lossless audio".
(That being said, I am after a couple of hdmi cables, so I may buy some of the "v2.0" ones =) )
Lots of seller follow same practice to attract more people.
I was thinking the same thing when I was trying to get some HDMI cables on eBay a few days ago.
Its very annoying.
