And stores!
In terms of price, the wireless hard drive is a bargain. I saw a Seagate version at Officeworks for $199.
But the question remains about reliability, what hard drive is inside, transfer speeds, battery life etc.
Any one know if the vacuum cleaner is any good ? Are they powerful enough suction wise for regular use ?
I've taken back all electronics I have bought from Audi. Quality is poor, but they refund with limited questions asked. I wouldn't risk having my memories on this hard drive alone.
You should never have your memories on ANY hard drive alone.
nice, but why only audio/electronics.. take all your full cars back within 60 days satisfaction warranty to claim money back..lol
why is their website so crap? i want more info. i see an ethernet? port and another port but dont know what they do
I would assume ethernet port is for plugging into your router so it can be a shared drive there.
it should also have usb port for direct file transfer.
usb port should also double as charging for the battery. The time it took you to complain, you could simply use google
I found this
Here's a link to the PDF instruction manual for the WiFi hard drive, for anyone interested. I checked the Android app and someone commented they were unable to stream video from the drive - just music and photos. If that's true, it's a deal killer for me. That would be the main reason I'd get this. And therein lies the biggest risk with this product, which is you don't know what formats it supports. There's no mention of DLNA support in the manual, so you can't rely on that to access files from media apps on your smart devices. iOS or Android devices won't see it as attached storage (someone more knowledgeable might be able to agree/comment) so I believe you're relying solely on the support provided by the iOS or Android app. A full blown Windows OS on a tablet or PC is ok, as it'll appear as network storage via the SAMBA support.
This deal sucks!
