Obviously not as good as a Kawaii or Yamaha but for the price and the feel they are pretty decent (I've checked them out in the past and as a student I got to level 5 - so I have a small idea of "quality").

How much would it cost to tune a piano that hasn't been tuned in 18 + years

    • more than what this costs ;)

Without speculating too much, it all depends on how good condition the piano is in. This could include how much it was played, how many times it was moved, where it has been stored, and maybe the quality of the piano itself. If it's in decent condition and it isn't too out if tune probably about 45min to and hour so maybe 200 bucks.

  • It's a decent piano for the price - 3 weighted keys sensitivities - soft/med/deep, linear key sounds (LH keys are louder on left speaker, RH vice versa), strong bass acoustics which provides a punchy mellow sound (not tinny) - well suited to jazz music, loud speakers. Just YouTube the reviews and you can see the quality for the price. The only con is that the speakers has a very subtle but audible hiss when in a super quiet room like my one bedroom apartment. If you're in company with others or in a normal environment with sounds around, you won't hear it. It's just the way the speakers are I think.

Yamaha's would be my first preference but price goes up a few hundred dollars. Can't beat the quality and tones.

  • There is a negative review on Amazon complaining that this model supports only 1 pedal. Can anyone confirm this?

  • These haven't been $600 dollars for literally years, if perhaps ever. You could certainly pay that much for it like a sucker, but it's been hovering around 500-550 for at least three years now.

Its cheapish, but nowhere near $150 off. E.g, this deal was available 18 months ago, too. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/139534

  • Does anyone know how much and where can I buy the original stand?

JB Hi Fi hasn't got the price of its original stand listed on the web. Did a check and it seems to be going for $200!

    • Milk crates.

      • If its good enough for some Cafe furniture, it's good enough to sit a piano on

  • anyone have a voucher pleasee??
