      COTD is a online company with no service, that's what i concerned.
      Few dollars, i choose to trust a pro computer store.

        xpmicro = 2% surcharge for credit card….4% for paypal….
        delivery seems to start from $12

        This deal seems only ok for those paying cash, who live near the store……

      • crazy_lady, are you a rep or work for xpmicro.com.au?

        • i'm a architect, i can not see any relationship between me and that shop. in fact, i buy all my computer stuff from there.
          i just share the hot deals which i know here.

  • Why not just get the new Popcorn Hour? Gigabit Network connectivity and a huge user base. No hard disk though. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/21706

    edit: sorry, PCH has no tv tuner either.

    I'm 99.9% sure hard drives don't come in sizes such as 808gb or 800gb for that matter. They do come in 80gb sizes though so maybe someone added an extra 8 on the end accidentially. I would confirm this before buying if I was you :)

      • Not certain of the truth of this but I did see a comment that this WD model was sold as 808 in Asia and Oceania because of the Lucky Number significance of '808' :)

        But yes it is described as 808Gb and it is big and a standard model for the 360T

    • I'm 100% sure they existed - as I am having one in my AP-300.
      WD released the HD as 808.8 to the Chinese market (and some how end up in Aus as well) around middle last year - google for it or see andy's post below.

      • well that would explain why ive never heard of them before.

        just wanted to make sure this wasnt a typo for anyone buying :)
