Hey guys.
Good weather for Apple pie after heavy lunch or dinner.
Come in to get $1 Apple pie at Ormond Maccas.
652-656 North road Ormond.
When did they increase in price from $1.50?
The prices went up last week and all the stores are selling for $2.35 now.
But we have seen so many customers complaining about this as it is very famous menu item so we decided to drop the price only at Ormond Store.
Cheers guys.
Thanks for the clarification, OP!
McDonalds Chatswood (NSW) Train Station has been selling it for $1.00 for over half a year now. Last checked yesterday still $1.00 each
I remember when the regular price was $1
I also remember Out Houses covered in Choko Vines. Coincidence?
Ingredients -
Apple, Water, Wheat Flour, Vegetable Fats & Oils (Canola & Palm), Sugar, Thickeners (1412, 1422, 415, 466), Whey Powder, Salt, Dextrose (from Wheat), Spices, Lemon Juice, Mineral Salts (170, 450, 500), Emulsifiers (471, 322 - from Soy), Flavour, Acidity Regulators (270, 330), Antioxidants (300, 320), Colour (160a).
Contains gluten, milk and soy.
Don't forget the 16.7% fat.
Wow, you're right. I had totally forgotten that food from Maccas had fat in them.
Glad you pointed this out. Hopefully others won't make the same mistake that I did.
Mistake is singling out the apple pie as particularly unhealthy, especially compared to other desserts (e.g. a choc sundae has 73.6g sugar vs one pie's 6.9g). The saturated fat content is unremarkable - to put it in perspective, one pie has 3.2g, while a slice of Nimbin Natural cheese has 4.7g.
What happened to Pickle Club?
Pickle club has gone due to the change of Management.
We believe that the offers should be for every customer not only for people who are the members of such club.
We introduce new offers in store pretty much every day but we have never used this site before . Now I will be using this site to update you guys with new offers.
Thanks .
Thanks. You are my closest Maccas and I will be coming more often if you do this
Is Maccas pricing individual for each store….??
Is it managers discretion as to charges/pricing?
Last time I bought one, they were $1… No deal…
You're getting old jv, probably not a bad idea to go easy on the apple pies.
The store is no longer honouring this deal. They did not believe me about this OzBargain post but I still got it for $1 when I told them that the sign at the drive thru still says "$1.50". Then she gave me some strange story about $1 Apple Pies only when it is "cold weather", such nonsense.
It is true that it was on their 'winter' loose change menu and now maccas has a 'summer' loose change menu but it sucks when stores run a promotion and don't properly notify staff, just leaves a bad taste.
To be honest I can't even see any evidence that they ever ran this special "Ormond Store only" promotion at all because they had no idea about what was posted on OzBargain, in fact they said that it ended over a week ago, so it seems that they have not been honouring it all this time.
Hi there,
I am very disappointed that you weren't able to receive the offer. I have communicated this with the management team again to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
Please come in the store tomorrow to accept a free apple pie.
Please mention the ref code 697.
I apologise again for the incident .
Thanks .
You may just get a few hundred OzB's quoting 697 tomorrow lol :)
I quoted ref code 697 and was told it wasn't in the book by the lady (same as last night, no name tag). Showed her this Ozbargain thread and got the free apple pie. In store I also noticed another $1.50 Apple Pie sign on the Apple Pie heater. Thanks for the free Apple Pie, I just hope that you can get yourselves organised
Preston VIC $2.35
it's $1.5 in other Maccas, at least I bought it at this price two weeks ago… Am I mistaken?
But, it's close to my house, maybe I'll drive over the weekend ;)
