I bought a pair after I broke my Sennheiser MM50 (basically CX300 with a mic). The Apple ones are ok in my opinion. Not as good bass reproduction, distorts at lower levels and didn't seal/isolate as well as the MM50s (http://store.apple.com/au/product/TR530ZM/A).
At $59 though, pretty decent price. Thanks for that, I'll stick with my CX300s

Better than the Earbuds
Written by JF from Quincy 8/01/2010
I received these as a Christmas gift after specifically asking for them. It's nice that Apple includes a carrying case and replacement mesh covers and the product just feels a little nicer than the standard Earbuds. As for performance, I wasn't blown away upon first hearing them, but the more types of songs I listen to, the more I like what I hear. You get powerful audio with pretty good bass even when the volume is only half way up. They're certainly better than the Earbuds but I'm not sure they're $50 better ($79 vs $29). I'm glad I got them as a gift an didn't have to dish out my own cash! Thanks for the feedback, you've got me sold. Now the problem I'm having is that once I've added this to the cart and click the checkout button I'm receiving the "Unable to connect" error. I've tried in 2 different browsers. Not too sure what the issue is?
um, we are currently fixing that problem

Genuine deal with the in-ear earphones costing $119.00 on the Apple online store: http://store.apple.com/au/product/MA850G/A?mco=MTM3NzU2MjA
Does anybody have any feedback about the in-ear earphones and how they stack up against the default earphones that come with the iPhone?
