Yes a panasonic drill is worth that price.
why?
Why not?
Probably the best thing Panasonic makes these days is power tools.
They sell so much re-labelled junk these days, but their power tools are still top tier quality.
Yep even back in the early days of cordless drills, a Panasonic was the tradies gold standard.
Original price $469….how good can a drill possibly be?
Good discount though.
SNAP!
Same drill with 4.2Ah battery is $569

Same drill without battery is $369

they're a pretty nice drill. About as good as you can buy without going ridiculous
Available in Bibra Lake Perth. Panasonic are the Rolls Royce of Battery Drills. I loved the ones that I had access to at work. I've got Dewalt at home and am more than happy with them but I wish I had the need for this drill. The pricing is VERY good :-)
I think the one on sale is without a charger ?
It has a charger and at least one battery.
Does it say that in your link? Didn't see it mentioned, but it is in the non-discounted ones.
Don't think it does. Masters are terrible with their online details. I have a photo but turned out blurry. Call them tomorrow - they are ridiculously over stocked. 20+ units.

Erm, is there really a suburb called 'Richlands'? If so, I bet there's a high rate of burgs there…
Richlands houses would have security guards ;-)
Richlands is also next door to one of Brisbane's poorest suburbs, Inala.
Is there a link where I can see all clearance power tools or do I have to browse?
Edit- nvm, you can apply clearance to filters

with 4.2Ah batteries. From the code it looks like it comes with 1 battery and a charger
They also have this Hitachi with 2 batteries (2 or 2.5Ah) for $199 (Hitachi are pretty well thought of). On the Hitachi site it says they are 'trade quality' with metal gearboxes.

If it's brushless its worth it.
Found the bare drill only for $199 at Vek tools and this twin tool/battery combo for $469:

Panasonic power tools are very good. We used to use them in our factory and you just could not kill them; they would be abused on a daily basis and just keep going.
The only reason we stopped using them is our 'preferred supplier' stopped carrying them. We now use Milwaukee which we are finding very good. Their new 12V stuff is fantastic.
I also like Hitachi gear too.
+1 can vouch for Panasonic drills. Tried all the major brands but still thought Pana was better despite the price.
Only catch is that there isn't as wide a selection of skins as say bosch blue.

makes it $225. Is it worth it?

Is this a brushless drill?
wow, that is expensive, even though it is discounted. Is it worth the price? There are many other brand name 18V drills much cheaper.
