Mmmm, a phone service you can bank on :)
It came with 500 minutes but they gave 200 of those back to the community
Not dealing with Vaya. Beaten.
Just curious, is Vaya still… unpleasant to deal with? Made sure to stay away from them after the whole LiveConnected fiasco, but currently looking for a cheap plan for the folks, and this deal looks decent in respect to price:allowance ratio.
Still dodgy as with incorrect billing fees etc as far as I can tell.
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2393287I'd never go back.
TPG Vodafone is actually doing a decent deal at the moment:
https://www.tpg.com.au/mobile/plans.phpIf you don't like it, switch to this Optus deal before Nov 28:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214671@plasmapuff: Wow, thanks for this!
Yea I used to be with them, billing was incredibly dodgy. Had to go through TIO…
With Vodafone directly now and they are fine.
@plasmapuff: That's a great deal!
@plasmapuff: Cheers for the TPG deal man! Looks good.
Still unpleasant when you have to ring them, though I've only ever had to ring them once - when I tried to port to them on a Friday night and they didn't do a thing until Monday afternoon…
Im with vaya for about a year now never had any problems..
@mrwillc: Just my 2c - I've been with them (well, LiveConnected beforehand) and I've had no problems at all.
vaya a shit.
Why the negativity? 2GB for $25 per and 300 min calls sound great!
because bendigo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwaaeR3-iNY
I've been with Bendigo for two years, no issues
for those who want 2gb but not unlimited calls to save ~$5(amaysim.com.au) :)
Sorry I don't follow, how do you get to 2gb with limited calls for ~$20 per month?
2GB + Unlimited = $29.90 Amaysim
Hence ~$5 saved with this deal.Yeah I was confused by the wording too… Should be something like unlimited calls for 5 bucks more with amaysim.
Good deal op, personally I don't need at the moment but I see its appeal. Also jeene is doing very interesting deals, it looks like everyone is trying to beat each other…..
no international call :(
yes international calls are not included but can still be made, unlike with jeenee :)
Jeenee mobile can get you similar deal, or additional $5 for 1GB extra, 3GB total
+1
until the end of October, your deal is perhaps better if one doesn't need international calls/roaming :)
Jeenee Mobile - $25/Month No Contract, 3000 SMS, 300 Call Minutes & 2GB Data (or 3GB for $30)
Seems Spintel got better deals. You can start from the lawest call / text / data categories then let it bump you up as neccessary
https://www.spintel.net.au/products/mobileNot anymore.
Cost $5 now to bump down at the end of the month…
Destroys everything they had going for them…
besides the $10 setup/activation and that $5 downgrade, 4gb seems good value (with $10 referral also available)?
Yup $27 for 4GB and some calls is one of the best going around if you need that much data.
I rarely use over 500mb with webpage browsing, so the $5 tier changing fee has killed them for me. If I get a month of $21/$24 I'm effectively stuck there. Shame as most months I'm just on the bare $18.
didn't realise that the plan bump up is permanent unless downgrade back requested :(
when did they start charging for downgrades?
@tonester: Starting from November 1st.
That's why I'm porting out.
bendigo bank telco….
really….?
