  I am sorry, but this is a neg…
  This product is almost unusable nowadays. A lot of Apps does not work now under iOS 5.1.
  A lot of old apps stopped working. I know what I am talking about - owner of the iPad 1. Worth about $50 for just basic browsing. PendoPad like.

  Maybe if you needed one for a specific app, like some of the retail/hospitality apps. But not adequate for a consumer.

  The 1st generation iPad is slowwwww. Just for perspective; the 1st gen. iPad has a SGX535 which is a 2 gigaflop GPU, the latest first gen iPad Air has a G6430 with over 115 gigaflops. The A4 chip is slow, and would be comparable to a $35 Android tablet these days.

  This has got to be a joke post. Even ifthis was $80 Aussie it would look too high.

  Cant run any of the latest apps as the latest IOS version iPad 1 can run unjailbroken is 4 or 5. Most apps require at least 7. What could you possibly do with iPad 1? Even browsing the web would be terrible due to web standards and a lot of crashing.

  As everyone else is saying, the original iPad really isn't viable anymore, I doubt it can even run any modern apps or be given access to the app store in its current form.
