    There's an app called open gear fit now that let's you use it with most androids with decent support. Does notifications well but I'm not sure if it supports data sync.

      Thanks for the heads up. now my gear fit can have a second life.

      I used to use it with my HTC one until I upgraded the OS and the samsung software started to crash.
