from what I can see, it's listed on the ebay store for RRP $249 - 30% = $174.30. Still, it's double the UE Boom which is a perfectly good speaker and you can get 2!
Haha yeah, I'm really undecided. Not interested in getting 2, and I feel I should just spend a bit more once off.
It wldnt be very ozbargainy if you didnt wait for the UE Boom 2 to go on special right :)
I also like the water resistance of the new model AND reviews say that the UEB2 is a definite improvement on the UEB1 (which in itself is already very good)
@X3: Procrastinated long enough for this one to sell out, so went for UE Boom 2, which is what I was leaning towards from the start anyway.
To me 30% off is a pretty good sale - I'm sure it'll go cheaper than that eventually but who knows when that might happen…
Good price, but I personally wouldn't spend $97 on this one, it doesn't sound very good…
Only problem is that you can’t find anything better in this class at $97.
Thanks OP - bought 2 to play in stereo or play in 2 different locations in the house. I was getting by on the original Mini Boom so this will be a nice upgrade.

boo only bought one of these for $130 a couple of weeks ago…good speaker…wish I had known version 2 was about to come out though.

Just purchased two red ones for my desk. Had a few issues with the mobile site having some error when attempting to confirm purchase, but switched to the desktop version and all good now.
They also have the waterproof UE ROLL for $93.10.
For those looking to Click and Collect - I hope you have better luck than I did:
* Out of stock for all areas around Melbourne CBD (I think Altona had some within 1 business day).
* Click and Collect was timing out on the desktop version of the site.
