TomTom GO 6100 6" GPS $302 (+ $50 eBay Voucher) @ The Good Guys eBay

90

Free click & collect in store or + delivery.

I purchased it via Good Guys eBay. You will also receive a $50 eBay voucher for use in October, see original deal.

This GPS is usually $399 retail, so I huge saving I think for a premium 6' GPS.

  • What $50 voucher can I use to get it for $252?

  • OP, you misunderstand the way the voucher works. You get $50.00 of next purchase not current purchase, there are conditions for the next purchase too.

    • I'll edit the post, maybe I already had a voucher from something I previously purchased.

      Voucher Terms and Conditions:
Your $50 eBay voucher will be issued on 1 October 2015, and must be redeemed before 23:59pm (AEST) on 31 October 2015, after which time the voucher expires.
The voucher entitles you up to $50 off the total purchase price for one transaction on eBay.com.au.

  • hmm, have I? This is what I received from ebay?

    Order total

    Subtotal AU $302.00
    Total voucher amount -AU $50.00

    Total
    AU $252.00

I never used a ebay voucher before, maybe I am getting it wrong :(

    • ….perhaps you have the voucher from the last promo…. I used mine to by a Weber Q1000 for $139.00 some 3 weeks ago.

      • Yeh I think your right mate… thank for pointing it out, changed the post.

        • No Worries mate.

We have the 5100. Great GPS. They have released regular firmware updates adding features. Havent tried the built in SIM overseas to see if the data connection still works for traffic.

Just in case you think that lifetime is long…..

    From TomTom website:
Lifetime – this is the useful life of the device, which means the period of time that TomTom continues to support your device with software updates, services, content or accessories. A device will have reached the end of its life when none of these are available any more. The useful life of the smartphone app means the period of time that TomTom continues to support the app with updates.

    • Yep, my parents bought one of their GPS's a few years ago which is still selling right now in all the popular stores, I can't update their maps anymore as it has apparently 'reached the end of it's useful life', it still works fine, and as I said it is still on the shelves, but it's stuck with the current old map unless we pay for a new map (may as well buy another unit for that price)

      • Which model?

A few years ago doesn't sound right.

        • It's a via 225 (via 135 in Europe). I can't update it anymore the program says it's too old, and they have had it a couple of years tops I'd say.

    • It's kinda obvious that with the built-in SIM basically giving you free unlimited data that it's going to have a 'shelf life'.

  • Great price, even after 20% discount, JB Hi Fi sells this GPS @ $319.20

  • I was under the impression GPS devices had come down a lot more than this by now, since smartphones can basically do the exact same thing for free :|
