Lucky you, I would never buy there again! good luck

  • Never have problem with them, 20 times, even the one it did not arrived, I got refund very soon.

prices seem normal for grey imports

    • Nothing particularly special that I could see.

    • They get most games from Europe (360 anyway) so they 100% play on OZ systems.
Just need to compare prices with other UK sites.
Looks like the sale prices are cheaper than most other places ;)

  • Prices appear to be as usual.

  • My experience with them are ok. Some of them arrived very early but some of them took a month. Nevertheless they do come. And the after service is very good. They have mistakenly given me 'YEAR ONE' dvd instead of 'Young Ones' and all I need to do was to mail it back to them (Melbourne address, free) and they agreed to return my original order. Good to use if you are not in a hurry to get the disc. In the end of the day it's the money you save that counts.

I dunno 'bout you, but the 6-disc LOTR trilogy for $10.48's pretty good.

Got some goodies for the 360 too:
    Mirror's Edge = $18.86
Grand Theft Auto IV = $27.86
    Assassin's Creed II = $59.16

A shame I went off buying those titles a little earlier. I heard EA's contemplating another Mirror's Edge. Playing that game always got me wanting to go for a run and climb things.

    • much cheaper deals to have been had recently from Zavvi and 365 games.
Assassins Creed 2 has even been $69 locally!
and GTA4 has been $30 locally

    • It got me wanting to quit and throw up in the toilet every 20 minutes, still an alright game though.

      • lol

GOOD DESPITE VOMIT. WOULD PLAY AGAIN AAAAAA++++++++++

    • Mirror's Edge for ~$19 is a good deal?

      9 pounds from 365.games.co.uk
      http://365games.co.uk/index.php?productID=4010

      5 pounds from game.co.uk
      http://www.game.co.uk/Games/Xbox-360/Mirrors-Edge/~r334039/

It WAS 5 pounds from dvd.co.uk also but it appears they've sold out..
that was $10.40 for a new copy of Mirror's Edge including delivery from dvd.co.uk for many many months from some time ago.

I think in general terms, any "sale" from any australian branch is utterly pathetic compared to UK prices. That's not to say what you're posting is a bad deal - it's just unfortunate that in aus we pay relatively so much more than most other countries for games. It's generally always cheaper to buy things from a UK site..

Unless you're one of those unlucky people who bought an uncensored version of Left 4 Dead 2 and got a whopping fine for importing illegal content, that is… : /

      • Mirror’s Edge is $20 at Kmart too.

        • Any idea for how long it's $20? I've always wanted to pick up a copy of Mirror's Edge, can't really resist for $20.

      • Did you get fined? :O
        What was the damage?
And yeah, as a general rule, Aussies are charged a lot more for anything. I remember when Rock Band and Guitar Hero both wanted to come in to Oz with the drum kit. The Aussie distributors went from "No one would buy it…" to "Let's charge astronomical prices for it!"

Link to GoodKnight's LOTR trilogy here. Region 2. Puzzled … is it free shipping? I tried viewing cart to check, but found no info or link for shipping. Just an option for transit insurance $0.50 (ticked by default)

      • argh sold out :(
p.s. all over the site in big letters it says "free shipping on everything"

        • Damn I had it in my cart, then it disappeared.

        • :P I wasn't looking at the site, properly :P

          Thanks

I've purchased off the site before, Arrived reasonably quick.

One bad thing I will mention - you get bombarded with bloody sale emails! And the unsubscribe feature took a week to action.

I'm considering buying one or two from this sale, thanks for posting the offer.
