Good price. $30 cheaper than ebay.

I'm more interested in foil shavers. Better for sensitive skin.

Good to see HN shaving off a few dollars for us

Thanks OP and glennh70 ended up buying the AT928.

    • Thanks, got two of these (one for my dad) and applied the $25 newsletter sign up voucher - total of $153.40 so $76.90 for one. Just the head is worth $50. I have the older model that use the same head and it works really well, even 7 years on. Think I paid a bit more the $100 for it back then.

$14 cheaper than the last deal.

    Real men use blades.

I used the Gilette styler (~$20), does the job for me. I wish it had more trimming size attachments though.

    • +1

Find Geilette Fusion to be the best shaver… other ones are not too comfortable.

        Geilette Fusion

Which asian knockoff site did you get that one from? :P

The one that sells Montorola Moto G. ;)

My lovely wife bought me a $300 Philips Electric Shaver a few years ago, used it once and placed it in the draw.
Unless your travelling, this is almost a useless gadget
After rubbing this thing on my chin for a good 5mins, I was still left with patches of facial hair akin to getting into a fight with a cat

Your first shaves may not get you the result you expect and your skin may even become slightly irritated. This is
not uncommon since your skin and beard need time to adapt to any new shaving system.

It is recommended to take into account an adaptation period of 3 weeks during which you should shave regularly
(at least 3 times per week) to allow your hair and skin to adapt to the new shaver.

During this period, use your new electric shaver exclusively and do not alternate
shaving methods; alternating shaving methods make it more difficult to adapt to the new shaving system.

love the long tag Good Secondary Shaver for Travel

  • I have this. It is a decent product…. It took three days of use to get every stray chin hair, but once i was rolling along it maintains things very well. Works fine in the shower for those that like to shave that way. :)

    • +1

I'll shave in the shower, but I don't want to shave "that way"

  • out of stock in melbourne

This is almost the price of the replacement blades.

Being folically challenged can someone confirm whether these are any good for ones head.

  • I have this shaver. Had for just over 12 months. Needs charging after each shave to maintain shaving power. Clearly battery is weak. Terrible on neck. Ok on face but often misses hairs. Panasonic previously was awesome just so damn expensive for new cutter and foils.

    • +2

Something wrong with yours then. Or it takes you 2 hours to shave.
Mines nearly 3 years old now and holds its charge for at least 4-5 uses. Even when the light flashes I can still easily get another shave out of it!

    • Something I noticed was the sub $150 Philips shavers had pretty ordinary battery life (had to charge every 3 uses).
Went to a Sensotouch 3D which would probably last at least 12 shaves without a recharge.

  • Can anyone rekon something for sensitive body part?

    • Hit and miss. $50 punt really.

  • Nice. Just bought one for my dad as a gift.

  • Had all kind of expensive shavers in the past and have settled for Gillette Fusion manual shaver…. amazing product $14 for 4 refills when on special…..last you 40 shaves…

  • I have owned a couple of the more expensive Phillips shavers. I find they are bad with longer hair (ie, have trouble with 3+ days growth), and also don't cut close at all. But they are gentle (ie, never pull a hair). I prefer a $20 cheapie from gearbest (I think it was) that cuts way closer, can deal with growth, much faster, but is rougher.

  • iv had a similar phillip shaver like this one, was awfull for shaving neck area

    • i bought one a while ago. Sent it to Philips for cashback 3 weeks later. went back to using my old remington.

  • Yes, good deal, but does it do your nose hair?

    • +3

only if you have 3 nostrils.

  • Thank you OP. Just bought one.

  • I need a new shaver and this sounds great but none in stock in Near me at 3121.

  • Braun all the way with shavers.
Owned one or two. Latest one is still going strong after 5yrs+

  • Can anyone recommend a good bread trimmer, I want that douche 2 day stubble look year round.

    • I'm struggling to find any trimmers… But there's a few bread slicers out there that'd definitely do the trick!
