I really like these, however i do think the Mi Band 2 will be out very soon for similar price and a heart monitor…

And as always when dealing with gearbest read this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/208703

I've been waiting for the Mi Band 1S/2 for ages…so many leaks so many moons ago, but still nothing. Come on Xiaomi!

      • I'm waiting for it too, actually going to buy it, i think there's going to be alot of demand..

  • Good deal..

Mine took around 6 weeks to get me via standard shipping.

I'd recommend buying a few spare bands, different colour options and they do wear out.

There is a leather one now too,

    • +1

Definitely worth doing. I just wish they sold the black bands separately.

  • Lost of 1st miband but lucky to get refund on it due to 4 day battery life.. Want to buy another one but always put it off for Miband 2 which seems like its always coming out the month ahead. waiting waiting

    • That's interesting, mine is currently showing 64% battery after 11days of use. Mine is set up for my morning alarm, vibration on calls and to unlock my RedMi Note 4G so I'm doing everything I can go run that battery down

Getting 45 days battery life with just one alarm per day.

      • I guess some batches with dodgy batteries or fakes going around.

        • Possibly, mine was bought from the Xiaomi online store in HK and a family member brought it over for me

Had mine for just under a month and only recharged it once. It does exactly what you want it to (counting steps, and sleep monitoring) and being able to have your band vibrate when a phone call or notification of your choice (SMS for me) arrives is fantastic. And it's so cheap!

  • Does it store much step count information locally? How often does it need to be connected to a mobile device to save step info? I'd like to use mine on a two week hike, I won't be using my phone during that time.

As far as I can tell, it will do that no problems. I don't know what the limits are on it storing data locally but generally if I am away from my phone for a few days (been up to a week) when I connect it the sync just takes longer but all the data shows up.

    • I've never tested the length of time it will store data for but I will say that it has lost data a few times (usually half a day or a day)

  • Mine arrived today. That's less than four weeks so good news.
