Not sure but I believe Coles sold them for around $5.50 in SA. My local Drake supermarket is $6.99.
$5.25 in NSW
More Dairy Farmers getting screwed by the big two :(
Farmers Union Iced Coffee is manufactured by National Foods, a company owned by the Japanese conglomerate Kirin. They're the ones screwing the farmers, not the supermarkets.
I love how people get down-voted just for telling the truth on this website. Unless it's about 7-eleven.
Here is 8 minutes video from Checkout. You can get more understading about milk industry.
More cows getting screwed over and calves killed by the consumers.
I think it might be the suppliers that are killing calves, rather than the consumers, but ICBW.
Unless I've completely got the wrong end of the stick and those mobile petting zoo things they have outside my local Colesworth are in fact a cleverly marketed pick-your-own deal.
So blame the hitman but not the person paying them?
Broadly speaking, I mostly agree with you.
It's a dreadful waste, any which way you slice it. Shocking. It's more like, so blame the hitman but not the shop owner he legally bought the wire he used to garrote the person with.
@Yekul: True. Woollies aren't screwing anyone over - the paying consumers are. You buy this deal - you show your lack of concern for farmers and contempt for the animals.
I'll wait until the boycott is over. Also… the ozbargainer in me is just going to go 'pfffffft' and will keep buying 2L of plain milk, add his lactase drops and then will add flavouring into the entire bottle.
"the ozbargainer in me is just going to go 'pfffffft'" - I hope he's using the Ansell condoms that were on sale recently.
Careful, we don't want to breed too many more of them.
Well you'd be surprised at the amount of people who try to hump me when I tell them I'm a 'tight arse' so a condom would probably come in handy
It was still $5.50 last night at coles.
New price started today
$4 is the normal price… It's not a bargain. You can get this price every day…
Don't you get tired of saying the same crap every time? It has been discussed numerous times and agreed posts like this are valid.
This is the NEW everyday price. Yesterday it cost more. Hence a bargain. Tomorrow and next week it certainly will not be considered a bargain. But you as a serial whinger already know this.
@jv I don't agree I was just recently commenting how stupidly expensive it is to buy. $6.50 at foodland and $5.50 at coles/woolies. So $4 is a good price and is a bargain at the moment.
Cheers OP. I love these with some baileys
How much were they usually?
