appreciate the time and the effort for the bargain and pointing out the negging, not sure why they do it.

  • The promotion applies to new online orders.

Has anyone had problems porting back with any of their deals?

    • I've had no problems (ported from Boost 3 times).

    • So say I have been with Optus for six months after originally having my number with Amaysim, can I be eligible for 1st month and new deals? I didn't think so and it took Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon to port me back (with $29.95 2gb plan). Seeing as I hardly text and use lots of data plan sucked and ended up changing to As You Go and now I no longer bother to use data on my phone because of cost. Amaysim thumbs down.

I am confused. You are saying Amaysim thumbs down because you changed to a pay as you go plan which costs more than just going on a $29.95 that gives you 2Gb data and unlimited texts? Optus data plans are a lot more expensive? Have you looked at Lebara plans? $29.95 for 4Gb data, and 50% off first month.

        • I am confused, I don't get what dan is wanting to do. Did he set a number up with Amaysim go with a different telco then want to switch back to take advantage of this 1st month off offer? I thought that wasn't possible (when I did it I didn't take advantage of any 'new customer' 1st month offers even though I have multiple SIM cards with different numbers because I thought it was against terms of service). I am a bit disgruntled because for someone who doesn't call or text that much but uses data $29.95 for 2gb is poor value of course you get unlimited text and X hundred minute worth of calls (around 12-15 minutes a day) but for $10 x 3 you could get 3gb of data alone just prepaid recharging. There are really no options for people who want a good amount of data and call little. I would be happy paying that amount each month if it included 2.75gb and $10 'as you go credit'. But as is it is poor value for me so thumbs down.

        • @juzz0: Well as I said above, Lebara gives you 4gb for under $30, so beats the 3x$10 recharge. Also unlimited calls and texts.

          Big Data :
A huge 4 GB of 4G data. 4 GB should be plenty for even the most ravenous data eaters. This data inclusion has just been increased and now represents the biggest data bundle you’ll find on a plan of this sort.

Lebara use the Vodafone 3.5G network :
Remember, Lebara use the Vodafone 3.5G network. Vodafone’s network has improved dramatically since it’s lows of 2010. In major Australian cities, Vodafone’s network is as strong as Telstra’s or Optus’.

!! Special Offer on Lebara $29.90 : First month half price + 1GB extra for each of the first 3 months !!

So that would appear to be 5gb for first three months. So if still not up to what you want then just port elsewhere.

        • Ok I'll check that out I was just responding to Amaysim deals as per OB post and discussion. Thanks for the heads up
