I went to eBay to buy some bluetooth sports headphones at 20% off, but was disappointed that most vendors had ramped up their prices up for the event. Disappointed but not discouraged, I dug around around and found these - $160 delivered for these "top of the line" headphones with built in heart rate monitor. They seem to get generally good reviews although some complain of the sound quality for the (RRP) price. I can't refuse a good deal and I'll make my own mind up :-)

For comparison, JB Hifi have them for around $260, best price on eBay (no 20% off) is $172.

  • Great price on these. I got them about 6 months ago and use them every day.

Just don't lose any accessories for them, because for some reason, no-one anywhere sells them. And Jabra customer service are just…the worst ever.

    • What kinda battery life do you get with them?

      • Approx 5 hours. It's decent, not amazing, but shouldn't get in the way too much.
They lose connection too a bit depending on how you move your head. This may annoy you.

  • Great price. i have noticed the prices have actually increased from $200 to $250 recently.

  • +1

How do these compare to the Jaybirds?

    • Interested to know this too.

    • There are a lot of reviews online, and it really confused me TBH. Some reviews are very positive and some are quite the opposite, for both products. They can be got for about the same price.

At the end of the day, it appears you trade off some sound quality (Jaybird has better SQ according to reviews) against a heart rate monitor (only on the Jabra).

  • Same same, only different: (No coupon here)

Sweat proof, HR+VO2. Looks little worse. Less than $60

Only BT3.0 so battery will drain faster.

Also can anyone confirm if this one can also be used with 3rd party like Nike+?
